Rock Cabin!

Nestled along the edge of the south-western hills of Sri Lanka's highlands is “Eagles View” Rock cabin at 5000 feet above sea level adjoining the Horton plains mountain range. . The breathtaking terrain of majestic peaks, deep ravines and rushing waterfalls, has temperatures more akin to a sunny English spring. It is an ideal location for those yearning for a cooler, natural setting.

“Eagles View” Rock Cabin has deluxe rooms with en suite bathrooms available as doubles, triples and quadruples. The rooms overlook a dramatic landscape with a bird's eye view of Southern Sri Lanka. On a clear day you can view the Sinharaja forest in Deniyaya mountain range to the placid waters of Uda Walawe; From Dondra light house in Matara to Great and Little Basses, situated off the coast in Hambantota District.

Rooms can be booked individually or the entire property can be booked for a group. (Maximum of 10 adults and 5 children) Delicious meals will be served by a butler to your room, in the dining room, main restaurant or on a deck overlooking the mountains.

The Restaurant serves a wide array of Eastern and Western Cuisine prepared by our master chefs. Fresh vegetables come to the kitchen direct from our vegetable gardens. We provide round the clock room service.

For the energetic a trek along spectacular scenery through jungle paths, Tea Estates, and a gap called "Devil's Staircase" will get you to Horton Plains, Sri Lanka's highest plateau, home to a variety of rare Fauna and Flora. A short trek or drive will get you to Babarakanda falls, Sri Lanka's highest water fall at 790 ft.
